Raised Flooring
A raised floor is a type of construction where a new floor is built above the original concrete floor of a building. This creates a space between the two floors that can be used to hide wires and pipes for electrical and mechanical services.
Raised floors are also known as access flooring, low profile flooring, or raised flooring.
After the raised floor is installed, you can cover it with different types of flooring materials, such as carpet tiles, vinyl tiles, linoleum, high pressure laminate, rubber tiles, wood, marble, stone, and ceramic tiles.
